Flavor of the atmosphere

Ever have those moments when you spontaneously notice that you are breathing? I'm not talking about yoga or taking a deep breath at the doctor's office, rather, when you are doing something like cooking and all of a sudden you notice the air flowing through your body. Does it go through your nose or mouth? Does the air have a flavor, a scent, an aura? Can you feel it travel through your larynx filled with vital oxygen, down into your lungs to keep you alive? Are you aware of the incredibly complex chemical reactions which take place to exchange the oxygen for carbon dioxide, all within our wondrous bodies, all within microseconds. Look at your stomach, does it move up in down in circular rhythm as your diaphram expands and contracts at a rate of once every few seconds, every minute of every hour of every day for our entire worldly existence? Can you feel how the exhale is slightly less humid than the inhale, doesn't really bite the tongue as much? Is it appreciated, are you grateful for the air you breath, it is, after all, a luxury only the living can afford.
